Housing adaptation grant works
Irish government currently offers housing adaptation grant for people with a disability so they can stay and be looked after in their own home.
If your household income is less than €30,000 you may qualify for 95% of the cost of the works (up to the maximum grant amount of €30,000). You can read more about housing adaptation grants for people with a disability here...

We have successfully carried out works on a number of grant projects and they were finished to a high standard as per occupational therapists requests. All our works meet full building regulations. We also fit mobility handrails, bath rails, front and rear access ramps and handrails.
Housing Adaptation Grant for People with a Disability
The Housing Adaptation Grant for People with a Disability is there to help people have works done which are reasonably necessary to make a house more suitable for a person with a disability to live in. The person’s disability must be lasting and involve physical, sensory, mental health or learning difficulties. The types of works covered include the fitting of access ramps, downstairs toilet, stair-lifts, level access showers, changes to allow wheelchair access, extensions, and any other works which are reasonable necessary to make a house more suitable for a person with a disability to live in.These grants are paid where alterations need to be made to a home to make it suitable for a person with a physical, sensory or intellectual disability or a mental health difficulty.
Housing Aid for Older Persons Scheme
Grants are available to improve the homes of older people so that they can stay in their own homes for as long as possible.
Mobility Aids Grant Scheme
This scheme assists older people with the costs of essential housing repairs and maintenance.
